Recruitment Processes and Selection

Here at Suited Tutor, we have a set of preliminary and high expectations toward our tutors/teachers that need to be fulfilled, prior to interviewing them. This will help our beloved customers to make informed decisions, as well as, for their peace of mind.

For our tutors to be considered eligible, they need to fulfil the following criteria:

  • Either be PGCE or PhD/Master's qualified
  • Have at least 5 years of tutoring experience 
  • Be enhanced DBS checked
  • Equipped with passion and a can-do attitude
  • Excited about teaching and knowledge sharing

Next Steps

Once a tutor has completed their profile, our recruitment panel will review and assess their skillset and compatibility with the outlined requirements, as seen above, and if the candidate is deemed to be successful and passes the interview, then he/she will be part of our elite network of tutors.

That being said, we would love to work with tutors who truly care about the young generation's bright aspirations, and thus to ensure transparency, we also ask our tutors to complete their profile, add details about their academic qualifications and share their availability.

We also advocate and encourage all of our tutors/teachers to adhere to the following Tutor Code of Conduct and Ethics, to safeguard our ambitious students' goals and help ensure that your expectations, as a parent or guardian, are going to be exceeded, wherever possible.
