Important Note When Searching for Subjects

While the website supports multiple languages, the search bar for subjects works best when you enter subject names in English. To see the full list of supported languages, click here.

🔍 Example 1:

  • If you change the language to Greek 🇬🇷 and want to search for 'Maths', please enter ‘Maths’ (in English) in the search bar.

  • The system will instantly recognise it and translate it to Greek as ‘Μαθηματικά’, showing all relevant results.

🔍 Example 2:

  • If you change the language to French 🇫🇷 and wish to search for ‘Chemistry’, please enter ‘Chemistry’ (in English) in the search bar.

  • The system will translate it to French as ‘Chimie’ and show the search results accordingly.

Why You Should Enter Subjects in English

If you enter the subject name in the translated language (e.g., Greek: ‘Μαθηματικά’ or French: ‘Chimie’ ), the system may not recognise it, and no results will be shown. However, if you enter the subject name in English first (e.g., ‘Maths’ or 'Chemistry'), the system will recognise it and automatically translate it to your selected language (e.g., ‘Μαθηματικά’ in Greek or ‘Chimie’ in French). This ensures that your search results and tutor profiles are displayed in the language you prefer.
