Countries Where Mobile One-Time Passcode (OTP) Verification is not Supported

At Suited Tutor, keeping your account secure is our top priority. Whether you're a student, parent or tutor, we make sure your registration is safe and verified. That’s why we’ll send a one-time passcode (OTP) to both your mobile number and email - just to confirm it’s really you.

However, there are 30 countries, where mobile OTP delivery is currently unsupported, due to mobile network restrictions or lack of coverage. This means that if your mobile number is registered in any of the following countries below, you may not receive the OTP required to sign up and verify your account with Suited Tutor.

What You Need to Know

  • OTPs are required for all initial sign-ups, whether you're using the form or Single Sign-On (SSO) (e.g. Google, Apple or Facebook).

  • If you're using a number from one of the restricted countries, (as seen below), your registration may not be completed.

  • To successfully sign up, we strongly recommend using a UK mobile number or a number from a country not listed below.

Please note: In some countries, for example United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Japan or Greece, one time passcode messages will appear from 'SuitedTutor' as the sender, while in others, for example India, Hong Kong, Brazil or Canada, they may show as a random numeric code. This is determined by local mobile operators and isn’t something we can control - but rest assured, the message content remains the same.

Here’s what your SMS from us will look like:

  • Hi there! Please use this one-time password: e.g. 345345 to verify your mobile number. This will help you receive class confirmations and updates. Thank you.

In brief, you can:

  • Use a UK mobile number, or

  • Use a number from a supported country (not listed above, e.g., Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Israel).

This ensures you get all OTPs and SMS notifications to verify and activate your account without issues.
