Living in the UK

Suited Tutor runs only in the UK for now, thus we are unable to accept applicants, (referring to tutors and teachers), who are based elsewhere or outside the UK.

Who can apply on our Suited Tutor website?

Here is a list, (which can be found below), which showcases the eligible applicants:

  • Applicants who have lived and studied in the UK, (completed their undergraduate and postgraduate or doctorate studies. In other words, an applicant who has at least a postgraduate qualification)
  • Applicants who may have lived abroad, outside the UK, and have completed their undergraduate and postgraduate studies, including their doctorate degrees, known as PhD in the UK. (For example, a student living in Germany came to Wales to study for their Bachelor's degree in Physics, completed their master's in Applied Physics and wishes to stay. Another instance is a student who used to live in Argentina and decided to study in Scotland their a Master's degree in Maths, and a PhD in applied Maths and wishes to remain in the UK).

  • Applicants must be fluent in English
  • Applicants who have tutored at least for five years
  • Applicants need to apply for an enhanced DBS check, (a price range can be found here)
