Acceptable Documents
When you register to work with us, you will be asked to supply a form of identification, as well as evidence of your residential address. This is effectively a requirement for us to abide by the money laundering legislation, as well as to ensure that you are proving to be the individual, who originally applied to join the Suited Tutor community.
What kind of support documents or proof do you require?
Depending on the qualifications stated on your profile, then proof or digital copies will be required to validate your academic qualifications. In addition, a digital copy of your ID, proof of address and at least two references will be needed to complete your application.
Proceeding forward, we have enlisted below a list of documents that can be accepted during your registration process, for verification purposes:
- Copy of your passport, national ID, or biometric residence permit (BRP)
- Copy of your driving licence
- Copy of your billing address, such as a council tax letter, bank statement, electoral or open register, also including water or electricity bills
What if my proof of ID has not been issued in the UK?
In that particular case, we may recommend you apply for a UK provisional driving licence.
What documents would be required for my academic qualifications?
To be eligible to work with Suited Tutor, you need to have at least a PGCE/QTS (teaching) certificate or a Master's/PhD qualification.
Therefore, we have enlisted below a list of documents that can be accepted during your registration process, for verification purposes:
- Copy of your Master's or Doctorate qualification
- Copy of your PGCE or QTS qualification
- Copy of your postgraduate qualification
